Internet servers participating in the project NetMonitor were visited by 5,08 million users in the CR in July. The users spent in average 24 hours and 53 minutes surfing. Statistics of audience have reached this year minimum so far.

The top 10 of advertisers invested 700 billion CZK into advertising in July 2010, according to the official price-lists. First places are held by usual giants Procter & Gamble Czech Republic, Henkel CR and Unilever CR. For the first time, XXXLutz CZ furniture store is among the top 10 with their intensively discussed campaign.
PR The share of households with satellite reception has grown // 23.8.2010
Increase of the percentage of households with digital terrestrial broadcasting reception continues within the current digitalization in the CR. Satellite reception of TV broadcasting in Czech households has grown and moved to the second position in front of the analogue TV broadcasting, which share continuously decreases. Usage of cable and IPTV reception still stagnates.
DVB-T transmission of TV signal dominates in Ceske Budejovice region after the digitalization // 17.8.2010
June 2010 meant the total switch-off of analogue TV transmission in Ceske Budejovice region. After the analogue transmission of CT2 signal was switched off and the digital transmission networks 2 and 3 were switched on in September 2009, the analogue transmission of CT1, Nova and Prima was switched off by 30th June 2010. Most of the households in Ceske Budejovice region receive TV signal by DVB-T, second most frequent form is the satellite reception. The reaction of the households to the finalization of the digitalization process in Ceske Budejovice region is shown in 3rd phase of the Monitoring of transition to digital transmission in this region.

Research study Community websites 2010 by MEDIARESEARCH describes attitudes, usage and trends in the area of social media. Number of community websites users grows, as well as the interest in websites with the community elements. People use them mainly for communication with friends and for entertainment. Part of the people is not using community websites as they are worried by the privacy loss or they don't want to follow the crowd. 524 respondents older than 15 years representing the Internet population were questioned in this research.
PR Czech people are interested in the multimedia content on the Internet // 13.8.2010
Structural and exclusive continuous survey (SEKV) shows that popularity of watching the on-line TV and listening of on-line radios grows importantly among the Internet users. From other multimedia activities the sharing of photos and videos is also popular. Popularity of participation in community websites is still growing. Stable increase of the Internet users shows also the on-line shopping. 2 139 respondents older than 10 years were questioned in this research.

The second part of the research study Community websites 2010 shows possibilities of monetization of social websites. Community users perceive company profiles on community websites entirely positively. Two fifths of the respondents agree that it is a good idea how to address the users. People want to share their own experiences and manifest their favour. Strong motive is also the advantages if they are apparently related to the membership. 524 Internet respondents older than 15 years participated in this study.

Top 10 advertising submitters in the CR spent on advertising in 2.Q/2010 total amount over 3 billion CZK. Highest investments into advertising had the companies Unilever CR, Henkel CR and Procter & Gamble Czech Republic. In that period the in media and advertising spaces appeared mostly the CSSD and advertising of brands Lidl and Vodafone.

Netmonitor data of June closed another half year of the Czech Internet audience statistics. The progress of the Internet audience in the first 5 months of 2010 had rather stagnating and fluctuating tendency. Summer months as usually show decline in the audience statistics.
